The widow of Lee Harvey Oswald. She was born in Molotovsk, Russia on July 17, 1941. After Lee defected to the Soviet Union leaving the Marines, he met Marina in 1961 at a dance in Russia. They had a daughter, June Lee, and later the family relocated to Dallas, Texas. After JFK’s assassination, Marina was taken by the FBI for interrogation. After being threatened with deportation, Marina agreed to give all the information she had. It is widely believed that much of Marina’s information backs the theory that Lee was a lone assassin. Marina later remarried and is still alive today. In the 1990’s she lead a campaign to clear her former deceased husband’s name. She is still alive today and resides in Texas.
